New cafe will serve Fazeley, Mile Oak and Bonehill People

A new community cafe will offer Fazeley, Mile Oak and Bonehill residents free internet access, a hot drink and somewhere to meet up with friends.

The cafe at Mill Lane Link is open every other Wednesday morning from 10am to 12 noon. People will also be offered help with job searches and the chance to raise community issues with representatives from the housing association and the council.

Councillor Colin Greatorex, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Organisational Development and Community, said: “We wanted to give people from Fazeley and the surrounding area, a place to meet up and to get help and advice in an informal setting. We hope lots of people take advantage of the community cafe and will find it a useful resource.”
