The Castle Community Cycle Club is a brand-new initiative started up to give cyclists of all ages, standards and type of cycling the chance to come together and cycle for fun.
The club has been started up by Dave Owen, who runs Dave Owen Cycles at the Activity Centre in the Castle Grounds.
He said, “Cycling is a very healthy pastime which can help people increase their fitness while having fun. It is something that everyone can do, which is why this new club is open to anyone, of whatever age, ability or type of cycling.
”The aim of the club is to get people together and get them cycling, so they can get healthier and meet new people.”
Anyone interested in joining the club is invited to go along to an initial meeting at the Activity Centre at 11am on Sunday February 12, or contact Dave on 07896 504141.
