Changed, towel in hand, headphones on and music blasting, so let’s get going. 5km p/h warm-up on the treadmill for 5mins, up the pace and incline to 5.5km p/h and 3.5m for 10mins.
After a quick chat with the management team about my program, I’m on the weights with no changes. 80 bicep curls, 20 tricep pulls and 40 side raises with the weights.
Finished, onto to the rowing machine, up from level 6 to level 7 and another personal record 2,701m in 15mins. I need another towel this one is soaked but can’t stop. Who moved the ball? Found it, I can now do the 20 squats.
Now for another 10mins on the treadmill, 5.5km p/h and 3.5m incline, and finish off on the bike for 7mins. 2.83km, not bad not bad at all! Home time now and feeling good.
Wednesday 14 March 2012
New day so let’s get going. Got the routine set now; 5mins warm-up on the treadmill followed by 10mins.
Weights now, 80 bicep curls, 20 tricep pulls and 40 side raises. Rowing machine now for 15mins, no record today but 2 decent 2,669m so no complaints. Time to bend the knees and stretch the back with 20 squats.
Oh dear, all four treadmills are in use, I’ll go on the bike and finish on the treadmill. 3.1km in 7mins on the bike, that’s the farthest I’ve gone. Now for the treadmill, 10mins, 5.5km p/h and 3.5m incline. What happened then, oh no a twinge in the calf, only 5mins done but I’d better stop now I do not want to do any damage.
