Free Drop In Advice Sessions on Self-employment and Business Start-up

Is one of you New Year’s resolution to work self-employed or start your business but you need advice, then come along to Tamworth’s Community Cafes next week.

Tamworth’s three Community Cafes are hosting free to attend advice sessions on Self-employment and Business Start-up in Wilnecote, Tuesday 22nd, Amington, Wednesday 23rd and Belgrave, Thursday 24th January.

The advice sessions are being lead by Community Café Coordinator, Cllr Lee Bates, and Phillip Goscombe, Managing Director, Business Advisor and Ex Banker.

Phillip Goscombe has specialised for the past 15 years in helping small businesses to develop effective, costed business plans with appropriate financial controls, offering practical advice and not just theory, which is key to his approach.

Cllr Bates said, “We ran two similar sessions before Christmas at the work clubs and they were both well attended.  It is for anyone who may just be interested to find out more or who have an idea/skill they want to use to create their own income and want some free support/advice to develop their business idea.”

The three sessions are:

  • Tuesday 22 January – Wilnecote Youth Centre, New Road, Wilnecote, Tamworth, B77 5DH, 3pm to 5pm
  • Wednesday 23 January – Amington Youth & Community Centre, Kerria, Amington, Tamworth, B77 4EW, 1pm to 3pm
