Matthew Ellis 03Staffordshire Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC) Matthew Ellis will be hitting the internet tonight to speak to local residents about policing across the county.

‘Let’s Talk’ is the first in a series of public engagement meetings where people can join in a web chat with the Commissioner.  The live virtual event will give the public an opportunity to ask questions and receive immediate answers.

PCC Matthew Ellis said, “I want people from across Staffordshire to get involved and ask questions or just follow the conversation.  This is a great opportunity to be open and accessible.  My ambition is for Staffordshire to be the most transparent force in the country.”

This week’s ‘Let’s Talk’ opportunity takes place on Thursday 24th January 5pm until 7pm at wwww.staffordshire.police.uk/lets-talk.  Any community groups, residents associations or media who have a website can also embed the discussion on their own sites by emailing webmaster@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk.

Further public engagement events will be publicised on the PCC website.
