The Help To Buy scheme is being promoted by Tamworth Borough Council as an affordable housing option for people in the borough, giving them the opportunity to take advantage of a Government scheme which provides a range of affordable home ownership options.
Help To Buy is available to both first time buyers and existing homeowners, and there is no upper income cap. It is also available on existing properties as well as new-build homes.
Representatives from Help To Buy Midlands will be holding a drop-in session on Tuesday October 21 in reception at Marmion House in Lichfield Street, to give residents the chance to find out more about Help To Buy and the options available.
The drop-in is taking place from 10am until 3pm. Representatives will be able to discuss eligibility criteria for Help To Buy and answer any questions.
Tamworth Borough Council Leader, Cllr Daniel Cook, said: “Help To Buy offers people the chance to buy their own homes who would otherwise not be able to afford to do that. I am pleased that Tamworth Borough Council is supporting this scheme and would encourage any resident who thinks they might be able to benefit from the scheme to come along to the drop-in session on Tuesday.”
